Brewing Coffee with Pour Over Filter
Step 1
Buy good quality coffee beans.
Step 2
Have the following items ready:
- For small serving - coarse ground coffee 15 grams (or 5 teaspoons) and hot water at about 95°C or 203°F - 250 ml (a quarter of purified water bottle)
- For medium serving - coarse ground coffee 25 grams (or 8 teaspoons) and hot water at about 95°C or 203°F - 400 ml (less than half of purified water bottle)
Step 3
Put a sheet of cone-shaped paper filter into V60 or any V60-like pour-over filter and place the filter on top of a mug
Step 4
Rinse the filter by pouring hot water through it and into the mug and discard the excess water
Step 5
Put ground coffee into the filter
Step 6
Pour some hot water into the filter gently and soak the coffee for 30 seconds
Step 7
Pour the rest of hot water into the filter for three times in equal amount
Step 8
Enjoy your coffee with good music
Brewing Coffee with French Press
Step 1
Buy good quality coffee beans (you are holding it right now)
Step 2
Have the following items ready:
- For small serving - coarse ground coffee 15 grams (or 5 teaspoons) and hot water at about 95°C or 203°F - 250 ml (a quarter of purified water bottle)
- For medium serving - coarse ground coffee 25 grams (or 8 teaspoons) and hot water at about 95°C or 203°F - 400 ml (less than half of purified water bottle)
Step 3
Rinse your French press with hot water
Step 4
Put ground coffee into your French press
Step 5
Soak coffee in your French press with some hot water and keep it covered for 1 minute
Step 6
Pour the rest hot water into your French press and wait for 4 more minutes
Step 7
After 4 minutes, press the plunger gently
Step 8
Pour coffee into your mug and enjoy with good music
